Caroline Cotter, Michael Howard & Marcedes Carroll

Friday, March 30, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

With a captivating soprano voice and award winning songwriting, CAROLINE COTTER’s travel inspired songs take listeners all over the world: from a Parisian salon, to the coast of Maine, and into the depths of the human heart. Since her debut album, “Dreaming as I Do”, released and reached #5 on the Folk DJ Charts in 2015, CAROLINE has played over 500 shows in 42 states and 10 countries.  In 2018, Caroline will be touring to support her second major release, “Home on The River”.  No Depression calls is “sweet and smooth, and downright refreshing… raising spirits with one song, calming them with another.” Tom Wilk of Icon Magazine writes, “Her well-constructed songs bring to mind the early work of Mary Chapin Carpenter.”   (
Born and raised in the wilds of Alaska, MICHAEL THOMAS HOWARD’s award winning songwriting and unique voice akin to Cat Stevens is captivating audiences across North America and Europe and earning him critical acclaim: “Remember the first time you encountered Steve Goodman, John Prine, Steve Forbert, Nick Drake, or Jesse Winchester? That’s how I feel listening to Howard—as if I’ve discovered the real deal, a one-of-a-kind singer who also loves words and knows how to put them together in memorable ways. I can’t wait to hear where he goes from here ” “A Five Star Folk CD” – Jeff Burger, No Depression. (
Together Caroline Cotter and Michael Thomas Howard create undeniably affecting harmonies and combine musical influences that pull from from traditional and contemporary folk, and Americana.

Marcedes Carroll is a Gallatin Valley local that’s been pursuing music from a young age; singing into her parents’ flashlight “The Heart Will Go On” in a debonair black sequin dress, camera rolling at the age of 8 was just the beginning. She’s studied music in between professional training and that of self taught prowess. She has worked with Live From the Divide on numerous shows over a span of four years and performed in a local band Drink Me Pretty for two years before pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter. She expresses a variety of flavor ranging from the Turnpike Troubadours to Ella Fitzgerald to Led Zeppelin, along with Original tunes you have to hear! She is spunky, fun and always looking to hone her craft with a new audience! Come see and hear Marcedes Carroll! You won’t regret it!
