Neil Filo Beddow plays folk rock music for the soul. He is a singer-songwriter whose musical influences include Lucinda Williams, Ry Cooder, David Bromberg, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan. He also plays many of his own original songs. His original music can be described as politically bent, spiritually seeking, tongue in cheek and humorous with a twist of serious. Neil’s guitar playing style he affectionately refers to as West Dakota Stutter. Filo has been playing in the area since 2003 and has put out CDs in 2005 (“Ray of Light” with a band called ‘Filo Productions’), in 2012 (“Song & Peace”) as well as a solo album.
